Cancelling before we dispatch
Email hello@thecinnamondoughhouse.co.uk as soon as you can, with your order number. If we have not baked or dispatched your box, we will cancel and refund you in full to the original payment method.
No cooling-off after dispatch
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the 14-day cancellation right does not apply to goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly. Cinnamon rolls are perishable. Once your box has been baked and dispatched, you cannot cancel for change of mind, a changed date, or because you ordered the wrong flavour.
If we cancel
If we cannot fulfil (sold out, bake issue, we cannot ship to your address), we will email you and refund the full amount, including shipping you paid.
Damaged, missing, or wrong item
If the box arrives damaged, empty, leaking, or is the wrong product, email us within 48 hours of delivery at hello@thecinnamondoughhouse.co.uk with:
- order number
- photos of the outer packaging, the inside of the box, and the rolls
- a short description of the problem
We will replace or refund, including reasonable shipping, where the fault is ours or the parcel was damaged in transit. We may refuse a claim if you simply left the box in heat, waited days to open it, or changed your mind about the flavour.
Quality
Rolls are baked to be eaten the day they arrive, warmed. They will not feel like they just left the oven unless you warm them. A little settling of glaze or topping in transit is normal. That is not a fault.
Refunds
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method (including Shop Pay). Card refunds can take a few working days to show on your account. We do not offer store credit instead of a refund unless you ask for it.
Allergies
If you buy without reading the Allergens page, we cannot refund on that basis after dispatch. Ask before you order: hello@thecinnamondoughhouse.co.uk.
